Historique :	Copie inversée (les personnages gauchers du tableau de Van Dyck deviennent droitiers dans la version copiée, à travers la gravure) d'après une gravure de Schelte Adams Bolswert. Comme l’indique aussi l’Épigraphie du Pas-de-Calais, une esquisse existe bien au Musée des arts anciens de Bruxelles, classée sous le n°3014 de l’inventaire qui précise qu’elle a servi à la réalisation du Christ à l’éponge de Van Dyck aujourd’hui placé dans l’église Saint-Michel à Gand (source : recherches d'Arnold Normand, ancien maire de Roeux).
