Historique :	Ce relief provient du tombeau de Philippe de sainte Aldegonde, bailli de Saint-Omer de 1559 à 1574. Il se trouvait à l'ancienne Chartreuse de Longuenesse.

Précision sur_l'état :	Des fissures en diagonale dans le bas ont été colmatées. Il manque les doigts de la main gauche de l'Enfant. Le gros orteil du pied gauche de la Vierge a été reconstitué au plâtre. Ce relief était antérieurement doté d'un cadre.
Précision sur l'inscription :	La signature est portée sur la ceinture de la Vierge : IAQUES DU BROUEC.
