Description :	Ensemble en marbre polychrome. L'emmarchement à deux degrés est orné, sur le dessus, de carreaux de marbre disposés en losange. Les fûts des pilastres, les panneaux situés dans les encadrements moulurés, les quatre colonnettes du tabernacle, sont en marbre clair. Les autres éléments (encadrements, modénatures, bases et chapiteaux des pilastres et colonnettes) sont en marbre plus foncé. La porte du tabernacle est en bronze doré.

Précision_sur la representation :	L'agneau pascal entouré de rayons lumineux orne le panneau central du devant d'autel (plus large que les deux autres panneaux de part et d'autre, laissés sans décor, lisses), scandé par quatre pilastres cannelés à chapiteau ionique. Le tabernacle affecte la forme d'une façade antérieure de temple antique avec ses quatre colonnettes jumelées et son fronton triangulaire.
